The sales and appraisal was quickest of 4. They didn’t balk at request for two quotes whole tree and offending limbs. Fair pricing for experienced quick work and debris removal. We coordinated to assure our presence during removal of large threatening tree limbs beginning extremely high all the way down. I personally want to take time out to give this company credit for their tree service for cutting down a large water oak tree in my backyard. John came out very quickly to do my tree estimate after I accepted his quote. He watched the weather so it wasn’t too wet to make ruts in my yard. The men came out dressed professionally, they were very experienced very efficient and worked SAFELY. They provided me with their insurance declaration. Their cost to cut the tree down was half compared to the other quote I received from another allegedly five-star tree company. I hired Hub City Tree & Preservation to cut down a giant live oak right next to the house. Hub City was very professional, fast, and did a great job cleaning up. The tree was directly next to my wooden privacy fence so, of course, there was a little bit of minor damage which I expected. After the job was done, they bought and replaced new slats for my fence. They also cut out a nice sized slab for me to use as a cutting board.

Removed a water oak! When they left, you would not have known a crew of 3 worked all day with a man lift, rigging to lower the large limbs, dumpster to carry away the trunk of the tree and large branches that were to big for the grinder other than the TREE BEING GONE! They used mats so the large equipment didn’t track the yard! Very professional and comes highly recommended.

I received a flyer in the mail last Thursday. It just so happened my husband mentioned a limb on the roof that concerned him and lifting the undercarriage of our Live Oak. Called Mr. Guarisco and was taken care of immediately. He scheduled an appointment to come out and give me a quote. The quote was reasonable so we approved it that very day. By Monday a crew was out and did a wonderful job. Their service is top notch. My yard looks like I never had limbs or branches cut, they swept all the debris and left my house within a few hours. Hub City was a great company to work with. They responded promptly to my request for service, and gave a clear assessment of the work to be done. My service need was the cutting down and removal of a large, lightning-struck tree. They arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work carefully and quickly. Had three trees taken down. One was dead, it was a lot of work for them. But they handled it great. I just ask to have the trees cut down, but they took it a step further and cut the sections up to a more manageable size. On my job they definitely went above and beyond. Great job.

John and his team did a fabulous job on my dad’s large property. There was a LOT of work they did which included trimming and removing branches from large oaks, pruning fruit trees, cutting down and grinding the stumps of trees, and removing an excessive amount of overgrowth/pop-up trees. I had an estimate for service the same day I called. Removal day, the entire crew arrived on site 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time set for 7:00AM, and said the tree would be down by noon. Y'all, the tree was also down 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Not kidding. By 11:50AM, the tree hit the ground! The neighbors were so motivated by their work, they requested a stump to be grinded also and, guess what, they ACCOMMODATED for that too! They left the yard looking better than before! Over the years we have used several tree services. Hands down John and his crew are the best at handling my needs with trees. These guys were 15 minutes early and had the job completed by the end of day. All the equipment worked flawlessly. I will be calling for the next project. We were considering removing a pecan tree from the property that had produced in the past but hasn’t for five plus years, the leaves were not growing like the other trees around it that are the same age. After a [conversation] with John we decided to let him take some soil samples and find out the problem. After some recommendations of fertilizers and other additives to the soil, this tree was the first to produce leaves this year. Hub City Tree & Preservation is definitely the guys to take care of all types of issues with trees.

I highly recommend Hub City. They did a great job at a fair price. A couple of things really stood out to me: 1) they were on time, 2) the work exceeded my expectations, 3) the crew was efficient, thorough and polite/courteous, and perhaps most importantly (to me anyway), 4) they did an outstanding job on the cleanup upon the job’s completion. Cutting and trimming trees is a very tedious, chaotic and messy job; whenever I have contracted similar jobs, I’ve always found that I’ve done a lot of cleaning up after the group I contracted completed their cleanup. NOT THE CASE HERE! The job I contracted Hub City for was LONG past needing to be done. I had spoken to and gotten bids from several other tree-cutting services before choosing Hub City. I have some personal experience with tree work; and based on that I believe that I have an idea as to what a job is going to entail. Without exception, I felt like all of the other services I received bids from were trying to screw me. And that was not the case with Hub City, they got an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work!
